Twisted-in-wire brushes are created by placing bristle material somewhere between the stem wires after which twisting the stem wires tightly, which secures the filament. Important: Reversing a twisted-in-wire brush may loosen the stem wire, causing a lack of fill bristles. Always rotate the brush inside a clockwise direction as soon as the brush points out of the user. This may tighten the brush construction.
Stainless steel wire brushes are highly heat and corrosion resistant. Stainless is used in wet or corrosive environments for a number of applications and will not leave after-rust deposits. Type 302 steel is used on our brushes. Straight and crimped fibers can be found.
